HONING HEAD

Honing is an abrasive process used to achieve a precise surface on a metal workpiece. By pressing the honing stone against the cylinder surface in a controlled manner, the geometric structure of the surface is corrected, surface texture and roughness are improved, and dimensional accuracy is achieved. The cross-hatch surface produced by honing ensures optimal lubrication. It allows seals to be installed and function without damage. Ideal for hydraulic and pneumatic applications.
